Spathoglottis unguiculata Pinkette

Spathoglottis unguiculata ‘Pinkette’ is a pink color mutation of the popular ‘Grapette’ variety. ‘Pinkette’ is a beautiful, small terrestrial orchid with clusters of light pink flowers one-inch across. The flower spikes produce successive flowers over time. Under proper conditions, ‘Pinkette’ can bloom year round. The narrow pleated leaves are palm like with a mature height up to 12 inches.

Like ‘Grapette’, ‘Pinkette’ is equally well suited for partially shaded landscapes in Zones 10 – 11 or as a warm season containerized patio plant. ‘Pinkette’ also makes a beautiful 4” flowering pot plant when grown under high light conditions finishing in 12 to 16 weeks from a liner.
