Phaius Wild Thing is one successful result of various Phaius breeding.  This colorful clone is worth the many years of hard work.  Phaius Wild Thing is a fast-growing compact plant that produces stunning flowers held by tall plant spikes above the plant foliage.  The plant vigorously grows that it fully matures in only a year and can become a specimen plant after two years.  A closer look at the Phaius Wild Thing flower will let you see its wild lip markings, thus it is called as the Wild Thing.  This magnificent clone is famous for its very unusual yet pretty colored flower.  In addition to the unique coloration, Phaius Wild Thing flowers are fragrant and can last up to two months.

Most terrestrial lovers, love to grow Phaius Wild Thing in a four-inch or smaller pot.  When grown in pots, Phaius Wild Thing would do well in sphagnum moss as the potting medium. Phaius Wild Thing can make great house plants.  When grown outdoors or in warm climates, they can be used as landscape plants and usually situated in shaded areas.  For a healthy and profusely flowering Phaius Wild Thing, all you need are: low light, potting medium kept moist, and plenty of fertilizer.
