Phaius Microburst “Orchtoberfest”
One of the best Phaius orchids is the Phaius Microburst Orchtoberfest. This particular hybrid has produced many clones loved by many plant growers and orchid collectors simply because they are all beautiful. Phaius Microburst Orchtoberfest produces a nicely-shaped sunset orange flower. The flower has this deep burgundy lip that truly stands out. This fast growing plant is easy to grow outdoors and indoors. When grown outdoors Phaius Microburst Orchtoberfest prefers low level lights. Indoors, Phaius Microburst Orchtoberfest prefers high light levels.
Phaius Microburst Orchtoberfest can be grown in flowerbeds. However, it needs to be repotted otherwise it will be completely root bounded. In pots, Phaius Microburst Orchtoberfest is usually grown in sphagnum moss. Try to avoid watering the foliage to keep your Phaius Microburst Orchtoberfest at its best condition. Sphagnum moss should be always kept moist by directly applying water to the pot.
