Phaiocalanthe Red Streak

If you are into orchid collection, make sure that you have Phaiocalanthe Red Streak in your collection.  Phaiocalanthe Red Streak would make a great addition to your treasured pieces!  This beautiful orchid is a product of the cross between a Nun’s Orchid and a Calanthe. The resulting Phaiocalanthe Red Streak is a fast-growing hybrid plant.  It produces tall spikes of predominantly red flowers.  Each red flower has white lip with splashes of red to maroon colors.  At a younger stage, some flowers have petals that have white undersides.

Phaiocalanthe Red Streak can be grown as a house plant.  It is perfect for 4” pots.  When grown outdoors, it can be grown in the ground.  In countries with warm climates, Phaiocalanthe Red Streak has been used as a landscape plant.
