The Passion Vine Plant
Passion vine is a tropical vine with origins in South America like Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico and Peru. It comes in about 400 species and blooms during spring time and throughout the summer with complex flowers in bold, striking, and endless colors. These flowers are known to carry various meanings such as the crucifixion of Christ as in the Passion of Christ.
Their tendrils are used to wrap around any support. Some species produce scented flowers used in producing commercial perfumes. Despite of their complex yet attractive features, passions vines require little care such as plenty of light, partial shade for maximum growth, and more water than any other outdoor plants.
