Galega
GALEGA (gah-lee’-gah). A small genus of bushy perennial herbs with white, purple or blue pea-like flowers in thick clusters which are good for cutting. Two species are grown in America. Galega orientalis, from the Caucasus, and Galega officinalis (Goats-rue), from Europe and Asia, with its four botanical varieties, alba, white; compacta; hartlandi, lilac; and cornea, rose.
