Dracaena Warneckii compacta

Dracaena deremensis Warneckii or simply Warneckii is one of the Dracaenas that is lower-light tolerant. This particular Dracaena cultivar has stiff tapered leaves characterized by narrow green and white stripes down each leaf side. At the left is a stock of Dracaena deremensis Warneckii compacta. Warneckii compacta shows a compact growth of a dark green leaves that form a rosette.

Because of the natural slow-growing habit of Warneckii, the plant is widely grown in this compact form. In this form the leathery blades clearly show off their varying bands that create a dazzling effect to any landscaping designs. The striking sculptural appearance of Warneckii compacta makes it an ideal Dracaena plant for indoor use.
