I need some advise. I currently have two long stems that have reached the height of my ten foot ceiling. There is good foliage on the top six feet of the stems. I need to cut them back and would like to ultimately have a four stem plant with the stems about three feet tall with a thick cluster of foliage at the top of each. How do I best take my existing overgrown plant to achieve my desired outcome.

I need help. A plant guy gave me this plant free and now it is dying or looks like it.
It will not produce leaves. One day I looked at it closely and noticed it had some funny looking whit stuff on it. Possibly mites as you stated above. What can I do now. I wiped the mites off with a wet paper towel mixed with some indoor insect killer on it. Will the plant recoop or will I have to just get rid of it.
