Dracaena Janet Craig Compacta

Janet Craig Compacta is the compact smaller version of popular houseplant Dracaena Janet Craig.  Compared to Janet Craig, this upright plant has smaller leaves growing tightly to the stalk.  Because of the compact growth, ‘Compacta’ grows up to only 1 foot tall and up to 30” in width.  This medium-sized plant Janet Craig version also has inconspicuous flowers.

The narrow, arching, solid green leaves grow in a cascading manner from an unbranched stem.  This characteristic makes Janet Craig Compacta an excellent floor plant.  Proper watering is the key to keep the full appearance of Janet Craig Compacta.  Caring for it as well as its lighting needs are identical to all other dracaena care procedures intended for Dracaena Janet Craig.
