Dormplants – 10 Dollars to Decorate

Recently we talked about apartment plants and with limited space, it’s still possible to bring nature inside.

Moving to an even smaller space we face the college dorm room. The dorm room offers all the challenges of an apartment x 5 I think.

With a daughter at college its a very short trip so see some unusual decorating ideas. Years ago the college student maybe had a car, some new lawn furniture and a slide rule, yes that was before the days of calculators.

Today students MUST enter school with laptops, iPods, backpacks, cell phones, smartdrives, digital cameras or video cameras and high speed internet.

Somethings don’t change though. The same 5 plants that did well decades ago still can add some “nature” to the usually cluttered college dorm – called dormplants!
