Dieffenbachia Tropic Snow
Dieffenbachia amoena Tropic Snow, commonly known as Dumb Cane, is a popular foliage plant that belongs to the Araceae family. This plant originated in the tropical forests of the North and South America and West Indies. It can grow up to 4 feet in height and 1½ feet in width with an obviously upright growth. Its elongated-oval leaves come in dark green and creamy white colors.
The name Dumb Cane is attributed to the Oxalic acids present in its leaves which can make you speechless. It can cause severe stomach distress when eaten. Tropic Snow is hard to find even though it has been around for a long time. Nowadays, it is one of the best indoor houseplants despite of being a tropical plant.
