Mammey Croton – A Sure Hit in Landscape Designs


Codiaeum variegatum commonly known as Mammey Croton is another beautiful hybrid of crotons. It has long twisted leaves of about 6 or 8 inches and 1 inch in width.  Mammey croton leaves come in eye-catching varied colors of yellow, green, and red.  For a full grown plant, Mammey croton requires a yearly addition of fertilizer and pinches off the tips of the branch.


Mammey Croton shrub makes a perfect hedge or fence in most places.  Although it is widely grown as a shrub, Mammey croton is always a hit as a colorful groundcover.  It never ceases to show off its beautiful effects in various landscaping designs.
