Calamondin
CALAMONDIN (kal-ah-mon’-din). A small, tropical and subtropical, evergreen tree (Citrus mitis) noted for its relative hardiness, ornamental form and foliage, and its small, juicy, acid fruits of which the skin is orange-red and the flesh deep orange, which are used for making ades and preserves. It may be grown where the kumquat and the Satsuma orange thrive.
