Winter and house plants always make for some unique challenges. Watering, light, temperatures dipping, heat and dry air all can play a part in the way houseplants hold up during the winter months.
Instead of looking all over the Plant-Care.com site I decided to provide links to articles to help make winter care easy.

My anthurium has taken a turn for the worst I think. The leaves used to stand tall and proud over the summer now they are are just laying down. I know it has to be something i am doing wrong because my rubber plant lost all his leaves this winter and out of my three branches only one has a little leaf on it and I think the others have died but I don’t know what to do with them at this point to help. My neighbor gave me some human vitamins that she said was stale and that she put them in my plants while she was taking care of them (I broke my toe, and she was helping me out). Think this may have hurt them?
