The Graceful Bamboo Palm
Chamaedorea seifrizii, common known as Bamboo palm is a tall indoor plant.
Native bamboo palm has long and slender branches while commercial ones appear bushy. Its graceful stems are tall and reaches about 10-15 fronds each, with dark green leaves consisting of about 4 to 6 leaves and up to 36 narrow pinnate leaflets. Under optimum conditions the Bamboo Palm produces dull-colored flowers and fruits that are popularly known as human irritants.
The Bamboo palm is native to Mexico and Central America but is widely distributed all over the world. A bamboo palm plant thrives as an indoor house plant and does well in bright indirect light. It does not require extra care and attention so it can stand in the corner of any room.
