Achimenes Cettoana Flowers
Achimenes cettoana is a compact plant showing upright growth. The plant grows more than a foot tall. Producing smallish flowers, Achimenes cettoana blooms from late spring to fall. Achimenes plants bear gorgeous flowers that come in an array of colors such as blue, peach, pink, red, orange, white, purple, and yellow.
Among the many achimenes plants, A. cettoana produces gorgeous flat-face flowers. These flowers are violet or purple in color, as shown in the photo at the left. Commonly known as Magic flower, Orchid pansy, Widow’s tears, Nut-orchid, Mother’s tears, or Cupid’s Bow, Achimenes flowers look spectacular when arranged in a cascading manner through the side of a hanging basket.
